Apple device management vendor, Kandji has introduced another new feature that lets IT admins remotely deploy Home Screen layouts for iPhones and iPads. This may be useful in some enterprise, retail, and customer-facing roles.

The new feature – called, appropriately enough, Home Screen Layout – is available within the company’s MDM platform. IT adminis can use this to define and remotely deploy Home Screen layouts in order to create consistent user experiences across the mobile devices they manage.
“Home Screen Layout for iOS and iPadOS brings simplicity and elegance to mobile device management, further solidifying Kandji’s commitment to delivering the best-in-class management across the full Apple fleet,” said Alexandre Morin, Staff Product Engineer.

In a press release, the company claims that for business users, providing a subpar user experience (UX) from the digital tools employees rely on damages productivity.
“With 67% of IT professionals reporting increased employee productivity from Apple adoption, Kandji is dedicated to providing superior support for the entire Apple ecosystem,” Morin said.
The new IT admin tool supplements the company’s existing suite of management tools, which support consistent software upgrades,, remote return to service and lost mode, data flow management, passcode enforcement and more.
